Both at home and abroad, GWA provides organizations with the staff and technical
capabilities to support its public health initiatives. We provide program management
office (PMO) support, technical assistance and training to support a wide array
of public health challenges. We also have access to a broad base of highly skilled
administrative, technical, managerial, and public health professionals. Internationally,
GWA uses its vast network to establish partnerships with governmental organizations
and indigenous companies to support solutions to public health issues. We
provide technical, logistical, and administrative services to support its clients
ability to meet programmatic goals and objectives. Our services and capabilities
complement our clients strategic vision and lead to measurable results and
program improvement. GWA
provides the tools and activities needed to address problems and provide a line
of sight between capacity building needs and operational outcomes. We have provided
capacity building (to include monitoring and surveillance) to our clients through:
Training, Data Collection, Information Dissemination, Managed Communications Systems,
and Technical Writing. GWA
also conducts IT-related and regulatory-based training to support technology applications.
GWA also leverages its call center experience and capability to provide data collection
and information dissemination support. Additionally, our staff has experience
with survey operations and management, survey center staff training and certification,
and quality assurance. Our staff has also conducted workgroups, interviews, and
designed data collection tools to track and assess progress toward performance
targets. We then assess and analyze the collected data and disseminate the results.
Our team has used collected information to develop benchmarks and provide qualitative
and quantitative results which are used to recommend program improvements. In
support of information dissemination, we have also developed policy notices, directives,
and reports. Our team has disseminated information to citizens, government officials,
and stakeholders through report writing, meetings, and presentations. GWA
provides technical assistance to facilitate our clients goals. Our technical
assistance includes information hotlines, IT support, and Help Desk support. Our
IT Support Services include IT Infrastructure migration, IT Systems Development,
and IT Systems Integration. GWA
works with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to ensure that the
nations commercial supply of meat, poultry, and egg products are safe, wholesome,
and correctly labeled and packaged. GWA prepares and conducts training for 7,000
Food Safety Inspectors. We also assist in the production and dissemination of
public health information. Our public health work is currently regulatory based
and proprietary application based.
